Hi

what document does my fiance have to give to MOJ to prove his single status? he has his egyptian ID card which states he is single, is there any other document he needs to provide?? also what checks will MOJ and my uk embassy do to verify our status??

I really appreciate help with this as we have called embassy and they refer us to website which states he needs his ID and proof of status!! but we wish to know what will be sufficient for proof of status aaaaaargh!! please help

Well , he have to get a written approval and singed by legal authorities, My wife is Egyptian and she did some govt. paper work. Do not remember the exact department he need to go. But he is native he can simply go to MOJ and ask the paper he require. Its not really rocket science specially when you are native

i appreciate your reply, but what written approval and which department does he go to?? We are being sent in circles and wonder if hid ID will be enough?

I think he has to go to the police station in his area. (where they make ID's and passports also)
