Offered a job, few questions, help please!

Hi Everybody,

I have been offered a job in Khobar (coming from Scotland) and would like to know how safe it is. My wife and son who is six would be coming with me and we don't want to make the move without looking into lots of things. My wife is more concerned, as we lived in Qatar before and obviously not as strict there. We are looking into the Dharan British Grammar School and possibly living in Oasis Gardens compounds area.

Can my wife live freely within the compound area, can you sunbathe at pool with son or do you need to be covered up also. Is there lots of things to do.

Living in Bahrain and working in Khobar is something I could do also.

All thoughts on the above would be appreciated.
