Hi Samixi,
It depends on what part of the U.S. you wish to reside. I suppose you might want to be around family since you mentioned L.A. That said, California in general is full of Spanish speaking people so you should have no problems settling/adjusting. Other States worth looking into are New York, Texas, Florida.
