Guidance on what steps to take for a stay exceeding 3 months...

Hi,
Coming to Ireland mid-March for a 3 month writer's retreat stay. Any advice as to what steps
I must take to extend that stay another 3 months perhaps? Have received no guidance from
Ireland justice dept. and immigration. I will not be working or earning wages... just writing,
ensconced in a lovely southern Ireland B&B. Any guidance is appreciated.

Hi Johnny
My wife and I are looking to do the same. All we are interested in is travel, sightseeing, and spending too much money in Ireland! We have contacted the Embassy in Chicago and got no good advice. It appears that most seem to assume that we are desiring Irish citizenship. We are only interested in an extended vacation in the range of 6-12 months.

Have you been able to obtain further info?
