that is the first thing i did, i went to french embassy and they give me a paper about the list that i need for visa.

But, I want to find someone who already did that, to share the experience so i can learn the good and bad about applying the visa

1 of my jobs is apply France visa in my office
First - you must make an appointment in online website or call them
Prefer 1 month before your departure
But if your husband or related like long-term visa for study, uni-European citizens BF, you don't need to make an appointment, just come, you will be their priority
And DON'T DEBATE with them!!!
If they ask you to add some more documents, just do it

I was working in Sole Agent of Renault Trucks
They always asked me to add more documents, I don't know why, I think is because they want to make me suffering or want to see me back to queue line
hahaha kidding
I always debate that my all documents are good and completed

If you still have to add more documents, you can just fax to them
Also the securities guard there are really nice to people who queuing
