I am living in Upstate NY and am planning on moving to Quebec within the next year or two max... My wife is a Quebecois currently working in the US... I was born in Ontario but have lived in the States my entire life as a US citizen w/ a US passport, etc... trying to determine the most seamless way to emmigrate to Canada... ie. should my wife sponsor me or is this even necessary since I have a Canadian birth certificate? Any suggestions and / or insight would be greatly appreciated! Merci beaucoup!

If you have a Canadian Birth Certificate, you don't need to immigrate. You already are Canadian. Get your Canadian passport however before crossing the border. Your wife will not have to have you go over to Canada as an immigrant.
Best of luck to you. I've left Quebec and pray never to go back. If I have to go back to Canada one day, it will probably be in Ontario.
