My wife and I have just arrived in Ubud( intending to stay 6-12 months), and with Christmas and the New Years Eve not far away, we were wondering what events are available in the Ubud area that might give us the opportunity of meeting a variety of interesting people.

Thanks Tourexplorer. Not much happening in Ubud over Christmas/New Year with ex-pats it appears. They must plan to spend their time in close group. Hope over time to bump into some, it migjt be interesting for all concerned.
