Hi,

is it popular to share a flat in Nha Trang ?

What advice would you give to those looking for shared accommodation in Nha Trang?

Can you recommend specialized local websites or newspapers?

By the way, keep in mind there is a flat share/house share section in the Classifieds

Hi Christine,

personally, I found (long-term) flatsharing as a scheme more difficult to implement in Nha Trang than in Hanoi.
In Hanoi, I found a "mate" within one week only - there are many expats (and with the help of your website... thanks!). However, I must say we were lucky to find an appropriate house in such a short time - we needed to screen dozens, with many frustrating experiences!
In Nha Trang, on the other side, I found it easy to get a nice house in An Vien village, and to negotiate favourable terms. Just walk around and ask the neighbours. However, when trying to share that one, my impression was that there is not a transparent "market" for this, maybe because most foreigners there are tourists and the expats that are there go for some individual solution...
