is it popular to share a flat in Stavanger ?
What advice would you give to those looking for shared accommodation in Stavanger?
Can you recommend specialized local websites or newspapers?
By the way, keep in mind there is a flat share/house share section in the Classifieds

I would say it's pretty popular to share renting in Stavanger area. We have a university in the city with about 10.000 students. Just about 1500 of them have a student-room/apartment. And since the appartment rent and house price generally is the most expensive in Norway I would say it's a popupar solution.
My personal flatshare experience with a afrikan man (i'm from Denmark)is generally good. I mean there was a culture gab but when I got by that and showed a little curiousity I actually did learn something new
