Hello everybody!

I'm new in Riyadh and I'm thinking of travelling to the surrounding countries in the weekends.

Can someone give me some travelling tips and mention some cheap airlines?

Thanks in advance.

Best regards

Weekend trips to the countries here. well, if you are smart and book weeks in advance you will be able to get really good deals in Nas Air.
But currently the places outside the GCC, have well some issues- Security wise. So be careful..

Cheers!

keep a multiple exit/re-entry visa with you (and your passport, ofcourse)

Drive to Bahrain is hassle-free/4 hours...do it easily over the weekend, visa stamped at the land border. beware of sudden road blocks and protests :)

if you have a knack for long drives and a nice 4x4 then drive to qatar (6 hours) and dubai (11 hours). Both tracks vary in quality but you should be ok. Nasair offers dubai tickets for 672 return during promos (one of that is going on right now!). flydubai is quite decent as well.

Thanks for the tips!

I think that my first trip will be to Dubai. I'll fly do Sharjah and then go straight do Dubai, it seems the cheapest way.

Outside the GCC, i wanted to go to Lebanon. What do you think of this country?
