hi,

I've just moved to Romania and need to buy a car. The car I've found is owned by a company, and is just what I am looking for.

But the company dosn't know what papers are needed. Please anybody, what kind of papers does the company need to provide, and what kind of documents do I need to provide? and what is the process, which office first etc etc

First of all you need certificat fiscal attesting that taxes has been paid. Ex for 3.0ltr engine tax is about
2000ron~700$ , but for 1.8 ltrs is 242~80$.
than contract between both sides named CV cumparare-vanzare
And ID of vehicles+ talon.
With this 4 papers you can register it to police, ask for new plate No
Or keep existing ones and you need an adress which you shoul declare the registration for tax office.

You will also need a "Certificate of Authenticity"released by RAR (which basically atests that the VIN number and the engine serial number is authentic) and RCA insurance
