Hello there,

I will be moving to Riyadh in a few weeks and I would like to hear some advice and some advice from people living there already.

I am 27 years old, Single Male and I will be working as an assistant Marketing Manager...I lived in qatar for 2 years which is a lil similar weather wise...so what are the do s and donts???

I know life is stricked there, but i am ready, as i had all the fun i could have with parties and girls and all that, now i am here to work and save money....

here are also some questions which i would appreciate if anyone can help...

1) what are some nice areas or streets to live in ( not compounds), I will be looking for a furnished studio ( budget is 24000 per year)

2)are there some nice Cafes that i can sit in and read the newspaper or book or use the laptop and smoke a cigar or shisha?

3) I am a social person, so at work or at stores is it ok to talk to girls or female employees (semi flirting ya3ni), so is that prohibited?

4) is it true that some malls only allow families? are there normal malls for just guys?

5) how much would a single guy spend per month? ( other than rent)

Thank you in advance

Harmonie
