Lapis was very fashionable in Norway about ten years ago, mostly worn in a strand like pearls around the neck or wrist. But it has sort of taken a back seat to todays oversized more abstract jewelry. If a creative designer used it in the center of a unique pearlized flower IŽll bet it could become popular again. It is a pretty stone and goes so well with blue jeans!
