Hola Luis

Este verano estuve en Tailandia de vacaciones, estuve en Bangkok y en las islas. Ante todo decirte que me gusto mucho, incluso para pensar en ir a vivir alli, Bangkok me parecio muy bulliciosa y tambien tuve la sensacion de que continuamente me intentaban vender cosas por la calle, masages, transporte, venta ambulante, etc.
¿esa sensación siempre la voy a tener si me fuera a vivir alli? o con el tiempo te acostumbras y te da igual o llega un momento que te ven como uno mas y ya no dan la bara. Te lo digo por que el caracter en general me parecio bien, pero en ese sentido son pesados.

A mi me viene de perlas este tipo de reuniones, ya que, me encantaría conocer gente en Bangkok (no conozco prácticamente a nadie) y salir de fiesta.. Soy Español y lo llevamos en la sangre! jejej

►Since this weekend is a long weekend, and know for a fact that most of you will simply disappear to islands around Thailand. I thought to do a plain and simple night out with no theme night.

❐ 8:00pm to 10,30pm
Meeting point: Cheap Charlies @Sukhumvit soi 11

Cheap Charlie's is a street-side wooden structure decorated with an eclectic collection of oddities, ranging from buffalo skulls, turtles, snakes, bee hives, tribal masks and sex toys, all looming down from the rafters onto the mixed crowd of locals and tourists. The beers and spirits are, well, cheap.

►Location: Sukhumvit soi 11, left side of the street - coming from sukhumvit road - , first small soi to the left. Nearest BTS: Nana

❐ 10:30pm to 1:00pm
:::::Insomnia:::::

Unfortunately we dont have any offers there as yet. However we can avoid the entrance fee by entering from V8 restaurant - which is owned by insomnia - buy a cheap drink or food and get a stamp to enter Insomnia.

►Location: Sukhumvit soi 12. Nearest BTS: Nana

❐ 1:00am to 4:00am

Unfortunately we dont have any offers there as yet. The entrance fee is 300thb ( we cannot avoid this one however - But it is worth it )
Glow its one of the few clubs in Bangkok that plays very nice underground house music and this Friday night they have got in place a nice Dj line up.

►Location: Sukhumvit soi 23. Nearest BTS: Asok. Once you enter soi 23, continue straight until the first soi to your Right, then, take the first soi to your Left and you will find Glow.

❐ 4:00am till late

From this point onwards the clubs that are open are unclear. However the remaining ones open should be ( like always ) Spicy and Swing.

►Location: By this point just take a taxi and say "swing" and they will know where to go.

= I'm sorry I coulnt plan anything last Friday, and this week have planned it quite late already but thought it might be worth just at least get a small group together so new people can make new friends and party with us. That is why; Better late than never.=

Meeting Point: Bubble Bar @ RCA
Its a newly bar open in the Royal City Avenue. Good underground tunes, nothing comercial. Awesome friendly athmosphere and very competitive pricing. Its decoration is quite different as it tries to resemble a submarine. A nice spot to check out and to start from.

LED @ RCA
There is no entrance fee here and the club is well situated in one of the most "chick" places of Bangkok's party venues . We unfortunately dont have any formal deals here, however I thought it would be nice to scape from main sukhumvit a bit and show you around a little bit more. ►Location:  Just in front of Bubble Bar

It's cramped, it's dark, it smells. But It's the best damn place in the universe! It will be filled with drunken partiers hell bent on making sure the night's not over yet. This hole-in-the-wall dive bar near Sathorn and Rama IV Road is a Bangkok institution, attracting everyone from the odd local celeb to curious backpackers looking for a late-night hangout.

►Location:  27/3 Soi Sribamphen, Rama 4 Road ( or simply say to the taxi driver Sathorn Soi 1) From the exterior it would seem its closed but it will not be. Its about 50 metres away from the 7/11 in the corner at the left hand side.

¿ Quedáis todos los viernes?
Los dos próximos viernes tengo compromisos pero me gustaría saber planes para los siguientes.
Ya llevo 3 meses trabajando aquí y estoy muy contenta. Poco a poco estoy conociendo zonas nuevas para salir y la idea de una quedada con españoles me parece interesante.

No es solo una kedada de espanioles sino gente de todos los lugares de el planeta que vivien aqui. Estas navidades no estare aqui en bangkok aqui que supongo que si mis companieros no planean algo y lo postean aki, no habra muchas salidas de martxa. Eso si, cuando vuelva reiniciare las kedadas.

The Big Night Out - Bangkok ► ► The Big Pub-crawl test run ◄◄


= I always wanted to start a pubcrawl, a big one. Bigger than the lazy ones in sukhumvit 11 or silom were they hit just 3 places and that's it. The one for This Friday night is going to be massive in comparison. 
Starting from Phrom Phong BTS station, opposite Emporium  towards Asoke, then make your way back in the opposite side of the street until you hit phrom phong again. In total there are 45 bars and pubs.
All must do in one night, this is the challenge that eventually will have even money prices if all goes well. =

THE PUB-CRAWL STARTS HERE. Please be on time so we can move quickly to the rest of the 44 bars

The Big Night Out - Bangkok ► ► Wiches, Clowns & Jungle Animals◄◄


= A very random theme to do indeed, but lets see who comes dressed the most creative of all. Either a witch with a big nose, a broom and a pointy hat, or a clown with that red nose and huge shoes. Or why not combining them creating a witchclown?? Also there is a party taking place at Glow were they will be also dressed up as jungle animals, so maybe combine the 3 of them?! The limit is your imagination! =

Meeting Point: Cosmo @ RCA, just in front of LED and next to Bubble Bar.
Let's start the night at one very chick and little place in RCA, there is nice live music that we can enjoy at the joy of a very cold beer.
