Hello,

it was a pleasure to find your site. Let me introduce myself.

I am a Polish girl who happened to fall in love with a French guy, and who has moved to France. Now, we're living in Paris and we will see how our life goes on.

If you want to read a bit, how a Central European girl sees France, you can check this out : http://jinelle.blox.pl/html

If you're living in Paris, and looking for a good chat - don't hestitate to contact me :-)

And now I come back to reading all these Expat.coms, I'm afraid I won't finish today :-)

Have a lovely day!

Julien

Welcome on board Jinelle!

Sure you'll need time to read everything here :P

How long have you living in Paris?

Take care,

Julien

It's incredible how reading blogs is absorbing :-)

I haven't lived in Paris for long, I've just started my 4th month here, and it's still a little bit difficult - especially, as for lack of friends and mates ...

But I've spent past year flying back and forth to Paris, so I think I managed to get to know it quite well. Now, I don't imagine living anywhere else, despite the fact that I'm still feeling a bit lonely. But I hope it will change within the course of time.

Anyway, hello and I hope to settle down over here for very long :-)

Jo Ann

Welcome Jinelle!
It's always hard at the beginning because of the lack of social contacts, but everything gets better with time! :D

Hello Jo Ann,

I do hope it will happen also in my situation, but I'm trying to work on it. Nevertheless, from my experience in big cities it's always more difficult.  Paradoxically. Or maybe it's just bad luck. I don't know, but I try to learn French and later, I hope, it will be easier to make new friends.

Have a lovely evening

Hi Jinelle,

I'm from Poland as well. I love Paris too, but unfortunatelly I can't speak French. When I was there I had to depend on my younger sister, who speaks French, I was visiting her.
I visited your blog, very interesting!

Greetings from London, Margot

p.s. My partner is a little bit French too, he speaks Creole (broken French).
