is it difficult for expats to open a bank account in Barbados ?

Which documents are required to open a bank account in Barbados ?

How long does it take to open it ?

Is there any restriction for expats regarding the services (loans for instance)  ?

Which bank would you recommend ?

I can tell you this much. I wanted to do it too before. not living there but I have many friends and also a family member there.
Choose one bank. like bank of canada or even barbados national bank. Call there and ask them. Best if you get it written on paper and signed. Every person will tell you something different and it will change every time you go there. So it happened to me. This is also part of barbados, you need to be patient.
