American in Cairo

Hi,

I'm hoping to meet some expat empaths soon. Just seeking to be around like minds.

I'm in New Cairo but willing to travel to nearby areas (Maadi, Nasr City, etc.)

PM if you want to meet up to relax at a cafe & chat 1f600.svg

[at]American in Cairo Hi. I'm not American sorry. French (sort of). I'm also in Cairo. A short introduction would be: I live in Cairo with my son (not far from Tahrir Square). I am working as Head of Contracts for a construction company.

I won't lie, between work and my son, I have little free time.

Hi Mona,

I wouldn't assess myself as an empath though. Too much empathy for sure. That put me in a lot of trouble or learning experience (depending on whether I'm in a good or broody mood).

Before I forget, if you feel like it, you can contact me on WhatsApp (01014852576), I'll be glad to chat.

We arrived in Egypt about 3 years ago from Uruguay. I worked for a consulting company I already knew (or thought I did). Long story short, it didn't work. I'll explain later smile.png. Then a few months off. Stressful when you are a single parent, but also a good time for self-reflection.

But enough about me. What brought you to Egypt? How long have you been here in Cairo?

Again, feel free to connect on WhatsApp

Lol [at] 'too much empathy.' Story of my life 1f605.svg 'Learning experience' too.

I wanted to live abroad. I initially planned to relocate to South America, but Egypt was recommended. I checked it out & gave it a try.

I've been in Egypt for several years (lived in different cities) and so far it's been a positive experience (the country, not the so-called 'friends' I met along the way) so far.

Yeah, WhatsApp is cool. Thanks.
