Hi everyone

My name is Kate and myself and my dogs are looking to move to either Peyia or Tala near Paphos next February.

Just wondering if anyone lives in either of these places and what they think of life there.

Thanks Kate

Welcome Kate

I live in Tala and brought our miniature poodle over with us 18 months ago. Very happy with our choice. Tala is away from the coast with spectacular views. Plenty of taverna's. Short drive to shops and beach. Airport only 20 mins away. Vet in Tala is very nice and appointments on the same day as I call them. Well equipped and cheaper than the UK.

No downside so far

Much depends on your personal needs wants and like to haves.... It's a very personal choice.

Both Peyia and Tala are nice villages both built on hills. And both have a varied range of property types and  styles... Near to Coral Bay Corralia and Sea Caves to enjoy all they have to offer...

We arrived here in Peyia in 2014 and  are still here after 4 moves 4 rentals and now own a property here much closer to the village centre which suits us as it's central to both the traditional village and the more modern outer edges..  and on a bus route if we need it ...Peyia has had a lot of money spent mainly EU funding to improve its infrastructure tremendously but the village centre is largely untouched.....for now at least but am guessing there will be a few changes coming in the next few years

Anyway it's very personal and Peyia suits us as it gives everything we want and need and we've been very happy here in the last 10 years...anyway good luck in your search for your own ideal home and location
