Brazil drivers license

Got an email from Detran saying that i have to do a tox test to renew my license. I am cool with that. Problem is that the tox test has to be done by may 30 or I incur a fine of R$1,500. 00. I won't be back in Brazil until July. License expires in July. Any have info on how i can get a deferral or find a symathetic ear in the Detran offices.

Hire a Despachante to sort this out. They are the ones in the loop.

Each Detran is a locally run authority. No one here has that fixer you are hoping for.

Thanks for the help. I will look for one. Does it matter that my license was done in Rio, because i am in the sao paulo local now.
