I just read an article in Portugal Resident about the Job Seeker Visa, which seemss to be quite unique in the EU.

What do you think of this? I know that the Portuguese government is generous when it comes to the use of e.g. the NHS or visa and citizenship. This is a trait, but on the other hand Portugal isn't a rich country and all resources (housing, NHS personnel) seem to be streched to the limit.

A mess!

I applied for that Visa back in June 2023 and still waiting!  My lawyers keep fighting with the Consulate because by law, they have to give you an answer in 60 days.

No much we can't do at this point, Consulate said they are waiting for the final approval from the new SEF ☹️
