Hello my name is Hans. I am actually from Sweden, not Germany. But the list of Nationalities did not find Sweden or Swedish.

I plan to move to Prague and will be in town from May 26 to June 1. Does anybody know of any Expat events in that time span? I would love to meet people living in Prague to learn more about the city and life there.

Cheers, Hans

Hello. I am a retired American citizen. My son and Czech DIL live/work in Prague. I am looking into relocating and buying a house in a suburb of Prague. Feeling overwhelmed with all the complexities of moving to the Czech Republic. Would love to hear from retired/non-working Americans who have moved to the Prague area. Any experiences, references, suggestions, etc. would be greatly appreciated.

Thank You!

American Native trying to Relocate to Czechia

I am an American trying to plan permanent relocation to Czechia. I am learning the language, which is not easy. I will have my passport, an American employer who will let me work remote and plenty of money in savings. Should something go wrong with my employer I can freelance/contract.

I am looking for someone to help me along the way. I have been researching places to live, mostly likely on the outskirts of Prague. I know that it is possible it obtain citizenship in Chechia after five years of permanent residence. Beyond that I am unsure of the details.

Would any friendly people like to help me out along the way?

Hello Everyone,
