We'll be moving to nearby Curitiba

Hello all.

My name is Ricardo, I'm portuguese, and I'm planning moving to Brazil in the following months.

My wife is brazillian, so she's returning home.

I'm currently looking for suggestions (or avoidances!) for moving companies, as we have lots of stuff to send (basically, it will fit around 13m3 of transport space).

We'll be moving to nearby Curitiba, just pending my work contract to be agreed upon, to start the moving procedures.

Thanks!

Ricardo

09/12/23  @rbmota.  Welcome Ricardo!  I can't make a specific recommendation for a European mover, but I can make one important recommendation for selecting any mover:  choose one who has actual experience moving people to Brazil.  The Customs rules here are extensive and complex, and are enforced rigorously.  You need a mover who knows how it's done, not one who'll "learn by doing" on your shipment.  Best of luck to you, and a big "Welcome Home!" to your wife!
