Some local health insurance providers are AAR and Strategis

thanks Elaine, do you have any experience with them, i.e.cost and services?

We use Strategis.  Good value for money.  Good service overall - you get service at a range of good health facilities for free (no pay and refund).  Although for a time there were problems with queues at the strategis desk at hospitals to be "verified" as they introduced a finger print scanning system to do this and it wasn't working well, but it seems to be better now.  AAR is more expensive than Strategis, and their cheaper plans require you to go to an AAR clinic first and other health facilities only on referral.
