Hello everyone,

The COVID-19 pandemic had a huge impact on the world, including on expats' lives. Travel restrictions, business closures, budget cuts, and health measures have created unprecedented challenges for those who have chosen to live in Bahrain.

Now that the pandemic is moderated, expats are adjusting to a new daily routine. So tell us, how is your expat life now:

Are there still any health measures in place in Bahrain? If so, what are they (wearing a mask, barrier measures, etc.)?

Have you noticed any changes in the population's habits or behavior after the pandemic?

What is your new work rhythm: do you still work remotely or are you spending more time in the office?

Have you changed your spending habits? If so, which ones?

Despite this pandemic and its consequences, how do you see your future in Bahrain?

Do you have any advice for other expats and future expats on this new daily life in Bahrain?

Thank you for your contribution.

The mandatory guidelines related to wearing face masks and all has been lifted. However, it is now a matter of choice to wear it or not.

Residents have now started enjoying the freedom and I can see people are pretty much happy here.. The Malls are full, the parks are good , everything is back to normal.

  • We are back to normal working hours and work from home is no longer in practice in our office. i guess there are very few offices now which now follows work from home concept.

Have you changed your spending habits? If so, which ones?

Started spending few more dinars on Supplements and health. Realized after Covid, that enjoying life is more important..

Despite this pandemic and its consequences, how do you see your future in Bahrain?

Bahrain continues to be a better place for expats., provided they have a decent salaried job..

Hope this helps...
