Is there a way to find out how much an overstay fine is without actually being in Brasil?

Thanks

Sorry, I don't know any way to get that information.  All you can do is estimate it, by adding at least 12% interest per year to the original amount that the Immigration Officer told you, from the date you received the fine to the date of your next return.

If you don't remember the number, it was probably R$100.00 per day of overstay, including your day of departure, to a maximum of R$10,000.00.  Interest will be added to that.
