Employment in Denmark or Finland

I am interested to relocate to Denmark to search for employment. I am not sure if I could find anything suitable as a PE teacher and a football coach. In fact, I might be willing to work in a hotel reception with English only. Is it possible at all what I try to accomplish?

Hi Giorgo,

Welcome to Expat.com! :)

I have moved your topic on the Denmark forum for better visibility. I hope other members will be able to advise you. You may post an advert in the Denmark classifieds > job section as well.

I wish you good luck

Hello,
My name is Irene. I plan to move to Denmark next month and seek employment. I speak fluent english and have wonderful smile. I have background in Business. How soon can I get a job in a hotel as receptionist and maybe a room as part of my employment? Any help would be useful.

Thanks.

Hello Irene and welcome to Expat.com!

You should post an advert in the Denmark classifieds > jobs section.

Hi.
I am from Denmark, currently living in Cape Town, South africa.
It is NOT easy to move to Denmark and get a job if you do not speake Danish, working in a reception you need to speak danish. Only very specialised corporate jobs or medical proficionals and the like can you get away with not speaking danish. I would recomend you both to check out www.um.dk to see the specifications for obtaining visas.

Hello,
I live in Accra planning to move to Denmark before the end of the year i speak and write good English, it will please me so much to get a job in hotel or any production firm, please guys i need seriously attention

Hi Agboy.

It is not going to help you that you speek and write english well, if you want to work in a hotel in denmark you NEED to speak Danish. I do not know much about production crews, but I think you will need Danish there as well. As I wrote before go to um.dk and se what is required for you to get a working visa or a green card.
