We are planning on retiring to Sri Lanka in 10 years time. I know it's a long way off but it's our dream and gives us a goal to work towards.
We're thinking we'd like Unawatuna because it's near Galle and seems to have a chilled out vibe.
Have visited Sri Lanka on holiday a few times and have historical connections although no family there any longer.
What sort of visa or residence permits do western expats have and what would be the cost of living for a couple renting a 2 or 3 bed apartment?
