I need some help. I am slated to move to Oman in a couple of weeks. I received an email copy of employment visa via email from the employers (through a third party contractor). They informed me that upon entry, the visa - which is single entry, will be processed to 2 year + resident card which could take 5 to 10 days. My question is that i would like to travel back home over the weekend to visit family (after 2 weeks). Is that doable after resident card is issued? Do i need to inform my employer that I'm traveling? Also, does resident card take 10 days to issue or more?
Please help.
