Inflation in Cambodia in 2022

In the various media, inflation in Cambodia is becoming increasingly important. This is becoming a concern for some, with fears of an impact on day-to-day budgeting.

Today, how does inflation in Cambodia impact on daily life?

Which products and services have increased the most (insurance, shopping, petrol, electricity etc.)?

Have you had to review your budget? If so, what are your priorities?

What solutions have expatriates found to curb the impact of inflation? Did they use specific aids?

Thanks for your future contribution

Hello Mickael.

With inflation staying around 2.9% during the last 5 years (2017-2021) there is no fear for high inflation.

There is no energy crisis, no food shortages, everything runs like it used to be.

So no need to change budgets or daily shopping programs.

The only bad thing at the moment (and for long to go) is the expensive USD. So those that receive money from Europe lose a lot in exchange rates.

Further no problems, hope this answers your questions.

Have a nice day.
