About

A self-driven, resourceful Quantity Surveyor with Three (3) years’ experience effecting cost monitoring, reporting procedures and systems across a range of construction and engineering projects. My capability involves constructions from the initial conceptual stage, through feasibility study and detailed design. My capacity to work under pressure and deliver in time has won me the trust of many of my clients. In addition, I am confident in handling all areas of engineering and construction including design of work plans, detailing, and preparations of drawings and schedules management of contracts, cost control. I am adept in ensuring projects are delivered to the highest quality, within budget by effectively organizing, managing and utilizing resources. I am currently looking for an opportunity where I can leverage my developed competencies in ensuring service delivery

Skills
• Project Management: Ability to manage and supervise a project to its completion by ensuring compliance of all applicable laws and standards, ensuring all processes work within set timeframes and budgets and ensuring that all stake holders are involved in the whole project.
• Report Writing: Preparing internal and external reports pertaining to job status Planning ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones
• Architectural skills: Ability to prepared and interpret drawings with architects before execution to be used in construction
• Design Techniques: Capable of designing a process that seeks to meet desired needs by foreseeing future problems that may curtail a project I am working on
• Leadership: Excellent leadership skills acquired through Institute of Quantity Surveying of Kenya Seminars and experience as an assistant Quantity Surveyor where i managed to coordinate team members to work together to ensure desired goals are achieved.
• Compliance: skilled at ensuring those documentation requirements from project teams to other consultants within the project and contractors are complied.
• Creativity: Experienced in applying engineering principles to develop solutions within the construction environment by applying innovations and crafty ways that improve on solutions.
• Communication skills: Excellent communication skills applied when dealing with clients and maintaining their confidence in addition to clearly communicating with the construction team ensuring that all instructions are well understood.
• Team working skills: Capacity to manage and coordinate a team by mentoring them and ensuring that all team members walk towards the same direction.
• Computer systems: Proficient in working with MS. Office, PowerPoint and excel, internet and emails. Also capable of navigating Microsoft Project, AutoCAD, ArchiCard, Computer packages.
