The ICT Manager is responsible for planning, implementing, and managing the organization's information and communication technology (ICT) infrastructure, systems, and services. The role ensures reliable, secure, and efficient IT operations that align with business objectives, while leading digital transformation initiatives and driving innovation.
Skills
ICT Infrastructure Management: WAN/LAN, IP telephony, video conferencing, servers, virtualization, and storage solutions.
Networking & Security: Firewalls, VPNs, intrusion detection/prevention, endpoint security, and cybersecurity frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST).
Cloud & Virtualization: Azure, AWS, VMware, and hybrid cloud deployment.
Enterprise Systems: ERP, CRM, HRIS, and collaboration platforms (Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Teams).
Project Management: ITIL, Agile, PRINCE2, and PMP methodologies.
Data Management: Database administration, BI tools, data protection, and disaster recovery planning.
Compliance & Governance: Knowledge of IT governance models (COBIT, ITIL) and industry regulatory standards.
Leadership & Management Skills
Strategic planning and ICT roadmap development aligned with business objectives.
Budgeting and financial control of multimillion-dollar ICT operations and projects.
Team leadership, mentoring, and talent development across multicultural and cross-functional teams.
Vendor and contract management, including negotiation of large-scale ICT service agreements.
Change management and stakeholder engagement in complex, high-stakes environments.
Soft Skills
Strong problem-solving and decision-making under pressure.
Excellent communication (written, verbal, and presentation) for technical and non-technical audiences.
Cross-cultural adaptability and diplomacy, gained from working across 25 countries.
