Description
We are looking for a specialist in gastroenterology to fill a full-time position at a hospital in Western Norway.
The hospital is part of a larger healthcare organisation with multiple locations. The medical department at this site includes four senior positions and six resident doctor positions. The department comprises a 14-bed inpatient ward, including two observation beds, a dialysis unit and outpatient clinics.
Responsibilities:
Outpatient clinic services
Inpatient care in the medical ward
On-call duties in general internal medicine
Supervising and mentoring residents and medical students
Qualifications:
Authorisation to practice as a medical doctor within the EU
EU certification in gastroenterology and internal medicine
Experience with inpatient care, on-call duties and outpatient clinic work
Teaching and mentoring experience
Proficiency in English and motivation to learn Norwegian, supported by our free Norwegian language school
