Timisoara is the strongest economic centre in the West of Romania. The turnover of the business has an increasing average of 10,62 per cent. Moreover, according to the World Bank, the city on the Bega river has the most significant economic growth in the European Union. 

Timisoara is also the most dynamic and “friendly” city for developing new businesses, said the European Business Assembly from Oxford, Great Britain. This statement is true due to the important European investments. Therefore, Timisoara is the pole of growth in Romania.

No wonder that Timisoara is also a flourishing technology hub since it is one of the most important academic centres in Romania, rich in leading technical universities and colleges. There is already a tradition in the IT field, as well as in automotive, ICT, machine building, agro-food, wood processing, mining, and chemical.

The opportunities of Timisoara have attracted lots of companies from engineering and technical jobs. Also, many companies from the automotive industry, such as Continental, Delphi Packard, Mahle, Dura came into Timis county due to its economic prosperity.

Timisoara has been developing as a city, as well as the look of the most important parts of the town, which took to a great number of tourists to visit the West city.
