Entry visa for Tunisia

Who doesn't need a visa to Tunisia?

As mentioned above, nationals of the following countries are exempted from the visa requirement if they are planning to make a less than 3 months stay in the country, provided they have a valid identity card and passport:

Algeria, Andorra, Angola, Antigua, Argentina, Austria, Bahrain, Barbados, Belgium, Bermuda, Belarus, Bosnia Herzegovina, Brazil, Brunei, Bulgaria, Burkina Faso, Canada, Chile, Croatia, Denmark, Dominique, Fiji, Finland, France, Gambia, Germany, Greece, Guinea, Honduras, Hong Kong, Hungary, Ireland, Iceland, Italy, Ivory Coast, Japan, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Kiribati, Libya, Luxembourg, Macedonia, Malaysia, Maldives, Mali, Malta, Morocco, Mauritius, Mauritania, Mexico, Monaco, Montenegro, Niger, Norway, Oman, Netherlands, Portugal, Qatar, Romania, Saint Kitts and Nevis, St. Lucia, Solomon (Islands), Senegal, Serbia and Montenegro, Seychelles, Slovenia, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, United States of America, Vatican, West Indies

Nationals of the following countries holding diplomatic or special (service) passports are also exempted from the visa requirement:

Benin, Brazil, Burkina Faso, Cuba, Jordan, Mexico, Pakistan, Philippines, Poland, South Africa, Rwanda, Slovakia, Syria, Taiwan, Thailand, and Zimbabwe.

Good to know:

Australian and South African nationals holding an ordinary passport can apply for their visa at Tunisian border posts.

As regards nationals of the ex URSS (except Armenia), Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary, they are exempted from the entry visa requirement when going on a tour in Tunisia.

Tourism in Tunisia

French, Italian, Belgian, Swiss, German and Dutch nationals are allowed to travel to Tunisia with a valid identity card in the case of a tour. However, they are required to produce proof of accommodation such as hotel booking, as well as their return tickets. They must also prove that they have sufficient funds in cash to support themselves during the trip. Nationals of other countries, for their part, have to apply for a visa.

Canadian nationals are allowed to make a three months stay in Tunisia provided they are in possession of a valid passport.
