I lived in La Paz for a Summer a few years ago writing for a magazine and absolutely loved the city - loved the Witches Market and was pleasantly surprised by the nightlife!

I'd thoroughly recommend people go there and I also recommend people go up to El Alto - just an incredible sight to see so many market stalls!
