I've lived in Bratislava for 2 years now, and I've found it's a much nicer place than I expected it to be. There are always cultural events going on around the city. I like how it's big enough for there to be entertaining things to do, but small enough so you don't feel overwhelmed. People are, for the most part, nice and accepting. I give it a thumbs up.
