getting into Graz

Hi there, a young south african female looking to move to Graz to be with my finacee. Any useful advice on how to approach the situation will be much appreciated. Also is there work in Graz for south africans speaking English. I would undertake a german course once there

Hi DomBaptie,

It was a bit of a coincidence seeing your post. My son showed it to me, as I thought he might want to get the latest updates from Graz.

We lived in Graz for 6 months last year, but moved back, as my 2 kids found it a bit difficult there with the German school. They are 13 and 16 yrs old.
We have Austrian Citizenship, so we had it easy to stay there.
I am sure your girlfriend will be able to help you quite a lot, but if you have any special questions, you can fire away...
I did not work there, as I traveled between Graz and Angola, where I work.
I am on my way to Angola on Wednesday morning again for 6 weeks, otherwise we could have met.
We live in Somerset West.
