Relocating family is a tough exercise.

I have started this topic so as to share members moving experience that gives some tips to other members who might want to use the relocation services.

I will post some information on a regular basis to keep the members updated in the moving industry and relocations review.

POA- Import shipmenmts coming into Chennai is sometime custom cleared using Power of Attorney mode wherein the passenger/client need not be present in the examinaton area but can authorise one person, from the moving company whom they entrusted their relocation process, to attend the inspection on their behalf.

Please make use of this system and avoid wasting time in the Chennai customs for long time.

I did not use a relocation service; I simply moved things with me

However, this will not work if you have a family who is shifting with you.
