Jude Frederick is head of trading and strategy at QPQ Investments, the quantitative algorithm-based money management service from Pelican Asset Manager in London UK.

He is a London-born futures trader that started his financial services career over 22 years ago as an engineering graduate from University College London. He worked for some of the larger brokerage houses such as Swiss Bank Corporation (now UBS) and Merrill Lynch (now Bank of America Merrill Lynch). He specialised in fixed income OTC derivatives and structured products.

His professional investment career has exposed him to an array of asset classes and derivative instruments, and he would later specialise in futures derivatives focusing on the German government bond yield curve.

Today, he focuses extensively on quantitative algorithm development to create high alpha strategies for investor returns at QPQ Investments.
