After our succesful run of As You Like it in May this year we will be accepting new members for the coming season!
To get a taste of our work or just to dip your toes in the water, on the 28th of August there will be an open rehearsal.
During this rehearsal we will show an insight to our process. This rehearsal is for possible new players of for those that want to try out some Shakespeare acting. Some members of Park Avenue theater will be there to get acquainted with and help going through the exercises.
About coming season:
Rehearsals are on wednesday nights from 20:00 till 22:30. Starting on the 18th of September 2019. The performance will take place in Amsterdamon the 14th 15th and 16th of May 2020. The play will be picked depending on the formation of the group. A selection of two or three possible Shakespeare plays will be dicussed with the actors. The costs are 280 euro’s for the whole project.
Theatre is a place to feel at home, feel free and to explore qualities you might not even know you had. Or develop further what you know you’ve got! If you want to have one night a week where you can dive into a different world and let all of you out.. You’ve found the right place. For this project we will be accepting both amateurs and semi-professionals. We do ask an open mind to learn from each other. Every actor always has their own process, no matter how ‘high’ the level. In order to maintain that development, a maximum of 10 players will be admitted to this project.
