Blockchain for Beginners – In Aid of Save Valletta’s Skyline

Discover the world of blockchain and cryptocurrency at Palazzo de la Salle in Valletta on 28 March. A unique talk led by industry-leaders, Blockchain for Beginners will also explore what the industry could mean for Malta’s future, as it is becoming renowned worldwide as ‘The Blockchain Island’.

The talk will be presented by technology consultant James Wicker, followed by a fun panel discussion and a Q&A session moderated by Jo Caruana. Speaking on the night are blockchain experts Jasper de Trafford – Director of Zeta, an advisory firm operating in the fintech area with a focus on Blockchain; Matthew Sacco – Blockchain Developer at Ledger Projects, with a focus on the Ethereum Blockchain App platform; and Mark Bugeja – Chairman of TECH MT, a joint international marketing arm for the promotion of new emerging Fintech companies wishing to invest in Malta.

Profits from the event will go towards the Save Valletta’s Skyline Appeal, which aims to raise more than €8 million to fund vital restoration work on the tower, spire and structure of St Paul’s Pro-Cathedral in Valletta.
