Encounters Festival is the UK’s leading short film and animation festival, discovering, supporting and developing new talent in filmmaking. The call for entries is now open for the 23rd Short Film & Animation Festival in Bristol, UK, taking place from 19-24 September 2017, and we are accepting film submissions from every genre. This year we have a new competitive strand 'Immersive Encounters' focusing on Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality and 360 degree storytelling.
