From September 12 to 30, "Yvan & Else, bank of God", the new play of Laurent Plumhans will take place at Poème 2.
"Yvan & Else, Bank of God" is about love and contempt. In the continuation of his previous work, Laurent Plumhans highlights connections between intimacy and society from the point of view of a break-up.
The intimate relationship is the starting point of the broader rupture, dictated by the balance of our contemporary world.
Starting from a couple amongst others, we zoom out to the socio-economic world that surrounds all of this. Starting from the evocation of the story of Creation, Yvan and Else appear as the Adam and Eve lost in this 21st century that imposes its laws.
The performances take place from September 12th to 30, at the Poème 2 theatre (rue d'Ecosse, 30, Saint-Gilles), from Wednesday to Sunday, Thursdays in English.
The price: € 15 (full price), € 12 ( 60), € 9 (students, job seekers, performing arts professionals), € 6 (students in the performing arts).
