LETSGO! ROYAL BELUM ADVENTURE

Enter the Royal Belum State Park! It shares its border with Bang Lang National Park and Hala Bala Wildlife Sanctuary, Thailand. The park also makes 40% of the total land size of the Belum Temenggor Forest Reserves, one of the largest blocks of forest in Peninsular Malaysia.

Experience what is recognised by the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) as “is composed mainly of pristine tropical rainforest, with many river systems, and small grassland areas”. While supporting high concentration of large mammals, such as Asian Elephant, Malayan Tapir & Malayan Tiger. Also the only forest in Malaysia with all 10 species of Malaysian hornbills including large flocks of the plain-pouched hornbill (Rhyticeros subruficollis).

A common aboriginal or Orang Asal found within are the Jahai tribe. Some can still be found living in their traditional way in bamboo huts, hunting small mammals using blowpipes, fishing and gathering plants and honey from the forest.

And like any other nature adventure, the best way to discover Royal Belum is to have a campout surrounded by lush rainforest and all its beauty.

✔ Build a jungle campsite and camp for 2 nights by the Temenggor lake

✔ Night walk lead by our local guide and explore the nocturnal animals that inhabits the park
