Nature Calls

Join us at artlab on Thursday 28th of February at 18:00 to view the screening of award winning documentary Equalusuaq. Meet with Thomas Vignaud, marine biologist in an open discussion about the environment.

Thomas preferred spending time under water as a child, developing a passion for the ocean and understanding the need for conservation. Later he completed a Ph.D on sharks and consequently has been working with them for over 10 years now.

Thomas has participated in many scientific expeditions and uses his photographs to share the magic of Nature. He has won numerous awards for his photography, and will be here with us to answer to your questions in relation to the screening. Thomas invite you participate in an open discussion about nature and conservation.

Other interesting exchanges include experiencing the work of environmental artist Marie Le Coze who has always followed her passion for plants while exploring the world.

Equally a naturalist as she is an artist, her Botanical studies lead her to working with the remote tribes, Mikea in Madagascar to understand the way they use plants.

Marie documents her experiences of nature, conservation and art creations via her brand Zampela.

Our evening would not be complete without the contributions of
Imiloa, who provides a sustainable platform for women entrepreneurs to learn and and manage small businesses dedicated to the arts & crafts, traditional fashion as well as food kiosks.
