A quirky collection of tips and trips and tricks for India
I am creating this blog in order to help foreign nationals/expats who are currently staying in India and want to understand and live in tune with local culture and traditions. An expat in New Delhi - exploring India - experiencing Asia
Day to day in Delhi. My observations and experiences of life in Delhi and travels around India; often peppered with dry humor. As well as pages on favorite service providers and places to eat in Delhi.

Welcome. Here is the place where I keep track of the events of my relocation and adjustment to New Delhi, India. It’s a place where details are filtered through my perception; they pass through my heart and mind before I share them with you. You won’t find the truth here, but you will find my truth–or parts of it. It’s very intimate and flawed, and not very much like a well-written or informative travel magazine article. It’s a place where my loved-ones can see me stumble through a new life and feel bad for me when I suffer the consequences of a limited understanding of my surroundings mixed with my fears of the unknown, and then leave comments about how I’m doing a good job, or how shiny my face looks in India. Enjoy.

An American expat's writings on life, love & her experiences in India
Observations and experiences of living and traveling in India.

The various excuses that I have or poor spelling and bad grammer are as follows: Jetlag, writing in a hurry, delhi belly, broken keyboard (the g key is missing and the f doesn't always work) spellcheck sabotage and last but not least my own convoluted thought process.
Testing out my English writing skills and trying to be funny yet not shallow while reporting on what I stumble upon during my strolls in Delhi.
I've moved to India for a year working as a volunteer with VSO, so I thought I should start some ramblings about life Delhi style...
