In November 2011 my husband and I will move to Sao Paulo. Since my husband will work in Barueri we got the advice to live in Alphaville in order to avoid a time-consuming commute. Since safety seems to be an issue in many areas in Sao Paulo we are wondering if there are any gated communities in Alphaville and whether it's recommended to live in those "closed condominiums". And what do you think in general about Alphaville in regard to living, spending your free time, going out for dinner, shopping ... Any advise would be very much appreciated!
