Love live Jazz & live Folk music (My wife & I are both musicians.) Meeting people, cycling, Tai Massage, swimming, coffee shops, bookshops, lots of different types of food, etc.

Chiang Mai Grate Hotel is good near the center location. The room rate is from 1300-1800 THB per room per night. You can walk to the Sunday Market, Night Market, Book Store, easy to get the local taxi for getting around.
The higher budget can be Tamarind Village Hotel for 5,700 THB per room per night. It is right in the Old City Center.
