Hi Arvind,
A friend mentioned this site voicecash.com, they are the cheapest. Only 4 euros for amounts upto 500€ and 6 euros for amounts upto 1000€. This seems like the most convenient way to transfer cash and seems reasonable too. Try it!

The maximum amount that can be transferred:
I found out the following as the details for the maximum transaction. You can transfer upto - 10.000 € and upto 15.000€ (by going to a post office and showing your passport with a letter from voicecash). The rate for the maximum transfer:
If the reciepient gets INR -> 12€ fee
