I heard that to sponsor residency visa for family I need to have my marriage certificate attested by UAE Embassy of the country where this document was produced and then by the Ministry of Foreign Affair UAE in Dubai.
For children birth certificate has to go through the same attestation procedure. But the problem is, my son was born in Libya and it seems impossible to get my son's birth certificate attested by UAE Embassy in Libya. Does any one know what should I do in this case?

The documents should be notarised and attested in the country of nationality, in your case Canada if your profile is correct.
